Welcome to Columbia River Doula

Hello! I am Shavon, and as your doula, I will provide labor assistance.  This will include comfort measures for pain management as well as advocacy to the birthing person and their partner.

Prenatal visits will be part of the initial consultation as well as at the 36 week mark.  I will assist you in formulating a birth plan and provide support by insuring your wishes are followed during the birth.  I will be available by phone, email, or text from day one.  I consider myself on call from 38 weeks until delivery.

After baby arrives I provide lactation assistance if breastfeeding.  Postpartum visits are also included, the first being a few days after to be sure that things are going smoothly.  A final follow-up to occur at 4 weeks.
